FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Have you seen this dog in your neighborhood? If so, give a call to the Graham family of Fairfield. Samantha, or “Sammy,” went missing from her Mountain Laurel Road home at about 8 p.m. Wednesday evening. The family is asking for help finding her.

Sammy is a tan puggle who weighs about 25 pounds. When she ran away she was wearing two collars: a navy blue electric model and a green fabric one with Christmas trees and tags. The family describes her as “quick and difficult to catch.”

DARIEN, Conn. – Pizza veteran Anthony Bruno and NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino are bringing a new style of pizza to Darien. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza will open its first Connecticut location next week.

DARIEN, Conn. – The staff at Darien Social is looking to create a “home-away-from-home” atmosphere. They want customers to come in and feel relaxed. The restaurant opens its doors Wednesday.

WESTPORT, Conn. – It may have been cold, but people still headed out to Compo Beach in Westport to enjoy a sunny, if brisk, day at the beach Sunday.

For Westport resident Stephanie Dietz, it was a way to get her two boys, ages 5 and 8, out of the house.

WESTPORT, Conn. – Attention spinning enthusiasts: Do what you love and help fight breast cancer this March. Westport's JoyRide Cycling Studio is organizing a team to participate in SpinOdyssey 2012, an indoor cycling fundraiser that raises funds for breast cancer research.

They winter in our area, thanks to the efforts of one man – Pete Nye, formerly of New York State’s Department of Conservation. When he started his work, only one pair of eagles nested in the state. Now, it’s up to 220.
