FAIRFIELD, Conn. − Hey, Fairfield, looking for fun activities with the kids this weekend? Here’s some of the events planned in and around Fairfield over the next three days:

Friday, Feb. 3

▪ 4 to 5:30 p.m.: Start off the weekend by making your own snacks with your kids. The Pequot Library in Southport is hosting “Create Cool Crepes,” designed for kids grades 5 and up. Carol Dannhauser, editor of CookingTeens.com and owner of Carol’s Crepes, will lead a class on how to make crepes for dinner or dessert. The program costs $5 to cover the cooking materials. Register in advance by calling 203-259-0346, ext. 18.

▪ 8 p.m.: If your kids are fans of the "Star Wars" movies, but you don’t have time to sit through all of them at once, you can see the whole trilogy in just one hour at Fairfield University’s Quick Center for the Arts when actor Charlie Ross performs his show the “One-Man Star Wars Trilogy.” Ross will act out the full original series in just 60 minutes. The performance will be followed by a screening of the animated movie “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Tickets range from $25 to $30 and are available through the theater’s box office.

Saturday, Feb. 4

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: The weather’s supposed to stay cool all weekend, so warm up with a bowl of soup at Chowdafest IV at Bedford Middle School in Westport. Fairfield restaurants such as Old Post Tavern, Super Duper Weenie and Southport Brewing Company will have booths.  All proceeds go to Fairfield’s branch of the Connecticut Food Bank. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for kids under 12.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: If you’d rather have something sweet, you can grab a cupcake at Fairfield’s Brick Walk on the Post Road. Pink Cupcake Shack, formerly Pink Sprinkles, is holding a one-year anniversary party. Along with desserts, the shop will have face-painting, balloon animals and free gifts for kids under 10.

7 to 9 p.m.: The Fairfield Public Library is supposed to be a quiet place, but not this Saturday night. Local teen bands and DJs will perform at “Library-palooza,” a free concert at the Main Library on Old Post Road. Seating is limited, so register in advance at the library’s website, or call 203-256-3160.

Sunday, Feb. 5

▪ 3:30 p.m.: Most of the country will be focused on the Super Bowl, but you can see some sports action live in Bridgeport first. The Fairfield University men’s basketball team will face Siena at the Webster Bank Arena. Tickets range from $5 to $25, and are available through the arena’s box office.
