Two Fairfield teens were the victims of a violent robbery Wednesday night. The pair was walking on Sigwin Drive at about 10:11 p.m., according to the police report, when three men who appeared to be in their late 20s approached. One asked if they had a cell phone, and when the teen pulled his out, one of the men punched him in the face and took the phone. The robbers drove away in a newer-model black Chevrolet Impala, heading north of Figlar Avenue.

The victims described two of the suspects as black and the other as Hispanic. The only other information they could provide was that one of the black men wore a red baseball cap. The Fairfield police ask anyone with information to contact them at (203) 254-4800.
