In this video, Fairfield Ludlowe head football coach Matthew McCloskey discusses how his team is in rebuilding mode for 2010 after losing a core group of seniors. Despite that and playing in the same division as Staples High School, a perennial FCIAC favorite, McCloskey said he is confident his team can improve its 6-4 record from 2009. A bright spot for the Falcons is new starting quarterback Jimmy Calavito, who has, as McCloskey said, "A pretty good eye for getting the ball downfield." Fairfield Ludlowe opens its 2010 schedule Sept. 16 at home against Bridgeport Central.
